Your information in Feed Run
Feed Run helps people coordinate animal care on private properties. This notice explains what information the app uses, who can see it, and the choices you have. We will update it when those practices change materially.
Information you provide
Your account includes your name, username, email address, and sign-in information. You and other authorized members may add property addresses and map locations, animal and care records, schedules, completion notes, inventory, photos, invitations, and calendar entries.
Who can see it
Property owners and administrators choose whom to invite. Active members can see information for properties they belong to; caretakers can record care completions but cannot edit most property information. Feed Run's global administrators can access properties and activity logs to operate and support the app. Farm profiles are private, with no public farm directory. Suggestions and their attachments are visible only to their author and global administrators.
Location and outside services
If you allow device location, Feed Run can show your position and the pen you are in. You can turn this off in My settings or your browser. The app does not save a history of your live device location. Property addresses, saved map locations, pens, and pins remain part of the property's records.
We use outside services to run the app, deliver account and invitation emails, help prevent automated signups, and provide maps and weather. Those services may receive information needed for their function, such as an email address for a message or a requested map area.
Security and retention
Feed Run uses account sign-in and property access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We keep information needed to provide the app and make recovery copies so the service can be restored. If information is deleted from the live app, it may remain in recovery copies for some time. We do not currently publish a fixed backup-deletion period.
Your choices
You can edit properties you administer, change your password and email in account settings, and disable location, weather, or notifications. To leave a property, ask a property administrator to remove your access. For an account or privacy request, contact a Feed Run global administrator through the private “Suggest a change” page after signing in, or through the person who invited you.
This notice describes Feed Run as of 2026-09-30. New accounts acknowledge it during signup. Accounts created earlier are not retroactively recorded as having accepted this version.
